In 1992, while Leslie was pregnant with her first set of twins, she experienced a variety of difficulties including being hospitalized for 12 weeks before delivery at 34 weeks' gestation. She quickly learned that proper prenatal education and nursing care was as important to the expectant mother as the delivery experience itself.

Motivated to learn more, Leslie spent two years gathering and researching information on multiple birth, proper nutrition, preterm labor prevention, caring for multiples, and the birthing experience. Leslie has since compiled this information into a very comprehensive and educational DVD set.
